Job summary

NEWTONE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements definition for a multi-year Core Banking and Credit transformation programme in Wealth Management.

You will collaborate with Finance teams across Asia and Europe, product owners, SMEs and technology teams to ensure accurate requirements, data mappings and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on adapting Finance systems and regulatory reporting capabilities to new Core Banking platforms, with

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience in Wealth Management or Banking.
• Experience delivering Finance, Credit Risk or Regulatory Reporting transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Credit Risk Reporting including Limits, Collateral Management and Counterparty Risk.
• Experience with Basel IV and local regulatory reporting requirements.
• Understanding of accounting movements, GL accounting schemes and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Core Banking processes including Loans, Deposits, FX, Derivatives and Securities.
• Understanding of Credit lifecycle and IFRS 9 reporting is advantageous.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, functional specifications, impact/gap analysis and UAT.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across global/distributed teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication and workshop facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with Finance, Credit Risk, Regulatory and tech stakeholders to define business requirements.
• Perform impact and gap analysis across Finance applications, source systems, data mappings and interfaces.
• Produce detailed business requirements and functional specifications for technology teams.
• Coordinate with Finance teams to ensure data mappings meet regulatory and accounting needs.
• Collaborate with developers, architects and SMEs to design functional solutions and integration flows.
• Manage the requirements backlog and track transformation activities through delivery.
• Define and support migration, testing and UAT strategies with users across Asia and Europe.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle from elaboration to production.
• Identify project risks, dependencies and bottlenecks and drive resolution.
