Job summary

DA SOFTWARE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Cards & Payments to drive requirements and translate business needs into functional solutions.

You will analyse card issuing/acquiring, ATM/POS switching, and payment processing, guiding end-to-end transaction flows and messaging using ISO 8583 and ISO 20022, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business, functional and system requirements for Cards & Payments initiatives.
• Perform functional and system impact analysis across Issuing, Acquiring and ATM/POS Switching platforms.
• Analyse end-to-end card transaction flows including authorisation, routing, clearing and settlement.
• Work on payment messaging and integrations using ISO 8583 and ISO 20022.
• Support requirements covering credit/debit cards, disputes, chargebacks, delinquency, charge-off and write-off.
• Prepare BRD/FRD, functional specifications, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with business users, architects, developers, testing teams and external vendors.
• Support SIT/UAT, defect analysis, implementation and production rollout.
• Manage requirements and documentation using Jira and Confluence.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst – Cards & Payments with deep functional expertise across Card Issuing, Acquiring, ATM/POS Switching and payment processing. The candidate will work closely with business, technology, operations and vendors to drive requirements and functional solutions for complex Cards & Payments initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business, functional and system requirements for Cards & Payments initiatives.

• Perform functional and system impact analysis across Issuing, Acquiring and ATM/POS Switching platforms.

• Analyse end-to-end card transaction flows including authorisation, routing, clearing and settlement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of relevant Business/System Analysis experience within the banking/financial services domain.

• Strong functional knowledge of Cards & Payments, including credit/debit card processing.

• Strong understanding of card payment networks and end-to-end card transaction flows.

• Good knowledge of disputes and chargeback processes.

• Experience with loan processing, delinquency, charge-off and write-off.

• Strong requirements gathering, functional analysis and documentation skills.

• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to effectively coordinate with business users, vendors and technical teams.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end card transaction lifecycle and payment networks.

• Strong knowledge of credit/debit card processing, disputes and chargebacks.

Preferred

• Hands-on experience with VisionPLUS.

• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Experience in large-scale Cards & Payments transformation or migration programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
