Job summary

XILINX ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled diagnostics engineer to perform fault isolation across PCIe-based platforms and FPGA boards, including DPUs and SmartNICs. You will lead end-to-end RMA investigations and replicate customer environments in a lab, driving root-cause analysis and process improvements.

The role requires strong Linux administration, scripting for automation, and excellent collaboration with global teams to resolve complex hardware and software issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline.
• Strong diagnostic and fault isolation skills for PCIe FPGA-based platforms.
• Experience with Linux system administration and diagnostics.
• Experience with scripting for automation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and fault isolation across PCIe accelerators, FPGA boards, DPUs, SmartNICs, and servers.
• Lead RMA investigations end-to-end from screening to root-cause recommendations.
• Replicate customer environments to reproduce failures and validate fixes in the lab.
• Analyze hardware–firmware–driver interactions to identify failure mechanisms.
• Collaborate with design, firmware, validation, silicon, manufacturing, quality, and field teams.
• Develop and maintain diagnostic workflows, tests, and automation scripts.
• Publish 8D RCA reports and share diagnostics knowledge globally.
