Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd. is seeking an experienced Blockchain Engineer in Singapore to design, develop, and deliver digital asset platforms spanning tokenized deposits, custody, and payments. You will lead end-to-end delivery, write secure smart contracts, and integrate with core banking systems.

You will work with product and architecture teams, apply best practices in security and CI/CD, and mentor junior engineers while exploring emerging blockchain technologies in a regulated financial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on blockchain, distributed ledger technologies, or digital asset platforms.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Go Lang, Rust, or C++.
• Hands-on experience developing smart contracts using Solidity and deploying applications on Ethereum or EVM-compatible networks.
• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, tokenization models, wallet infrastructure, and digital asset custody solutions.
• Experience integrating blockchain systems with enterprise applications, APIs, messaging, and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of token standards such as ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, and emerging tokenization frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain blockchain-based applications, smart contracts, and digital asset platforms.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of digital asset solutions from design to production support.
• Develop secure smart contracts for tokenization on Ethereum and L2 networks.
• Build middleware, APIs, and integration services connecting blockchains with core banking and trading platforms.
• Apply secure coding, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and resiliency practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support evaluation, proof-of-concepts, and adoption of blockchain technologies.
