Job Highlights

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to interpret mechanical (ACMV) engineering drawings
• Prepare as-built drawings, shop drawings in 3D BIM Models of ACMV systems and authorities submission.
• Work closely with the design/project team on ventilation rates, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection.
• Work closely with the design team to federated model in agreed formats that is aligned with client expectations
• Making use of Properties in BIM to hold equipment data and engineering data like selection, design, and commissioning information.
• Explore the use of applications in Revit to store instruments and controller ID and communication link.
• Assist to update and revise BIM Models throughout the project life cycle
• Assist the BIM Models are modelled with correct BIM parameters and attributes for BIM base quantification and 4D simulation
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with design team, consultants, and main contractors to ensure all drawings are aligned with client requirements.
• Use of BIM for coordination, sequencing, constructability and as built.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues
• Assist the Project in-charge in determining the project schedule

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience as a BIM Modeler in ACMV/HVAC for new-built or hospital projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit software
• Familiar with Navisworks is an added advantage.
