Job summary

DLM Pte Ltd is seeking a BIM Modeler to create and modify ACMV drawings and specifications, ensuring compatibility with project requirements. The role involves supporting the BIM Coordinator across the project life cycle using BIM, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Responsibilities include preparing drawings for preliminary, construction, and as-built stages, coordinating with project engineers and managers, and staying current with drafting technologies to maintain technical competency.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of construction processes and project management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve conflicts in BIM models.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and procedures.
• Proactive and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist BIM Coordinator by creating, updating, and revising BIM models throughout the project life cycle.
• Prepare drawings and detailed design documents for preliminary, construction and as-built status using BIM modelling, AutoCAD, Revit.
• Assist Project Engineers and Project Managers at all levels.
• Remain updated with the drafting technology to maintain technical competency.
• Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects from sketches or notes.
• Finish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages for reproduction using blueprinting, photography, or other duplicating methods.
• Determine quality, cost, strength and quantity of required materials, and enter figures on materials lists.
• Explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary.
