Job summary

BCA Building and Construction Authority seeks an experienced Engineer or Architect to drive CORENET X delivery, including Model Checker features, with a focus on BIM and IFC-SG standards and regulatory interpretation. You will collaborate with IT vendors, government agencies and end users to ensure successful implementation and adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related, architecture or engineering field.
• 3–5 years of experience in end-to-end construction projects as an engineer or architect.
• Hands-on experience with BIM authoring tools such as Revit or ArchiCAD; working knowledge of IFC-SG standards.
• Experience in requirements gathering, UAT coordination and system testing.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
• Preferably understanding of AI, machine learning or data-driven approaches and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Technological Enablers Delivery: gather and consolidate requirements from regulatory agencies, track milestones, manage deliverables and ensure timely and quality delivery. Evaluate AI/ML technologies for automated compliance checking and incorporate into the Model Checker programme.
• Model Checker Regulatory Interpretation and System Verification: support evaluation of BIM quality and regulatory checking strategies; engage partners on openBIM (IFC) standards; plan and coordinate UAT with agencies; manage defect tracking and verify requirements.
• Change Management and Training: plan and execute change management activities and training programs to prepare agencies and end users for adoption of CORENET X and its AI-powered features.
