Job summary

The Building and Construction Authority - BCA is seeking an experienced Engineer or Architect to support the CORENET X delivery, collaborating with IT vendors, internal teams and seven government agencies to implement AI-enabled features and advanced model checking.

You will translate regulatory needs into computable logic for automated checks and help evolve the Model Checker by leveraging BIM and IFC-SG standards. Contract role in Singapore with cross-agency exposure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on BIM authoring experience with Revit or ArchiCAD.
• Familiarity with IFC-SG standards and BIM data quality requirements.
• Understanding regulatory processes in Singapore's built environment.
• Awareness of AI/machine learning in automated compliance checking.
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into computable logic.

Responsibilities

• Gather and consolidate requirements from regulatory agencies.
• Support end-to-end delivery of CORENET X platform features and Model Checker capabilities.
• Translate regulatory requirements into computable logic for automated checking.
• Coordinate UAT, defect tracking and change management across agencies.
