Morgan McKinley Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Consultant - Banking Data Governance with expertise in business analysis to drive end-to-end data governance and regulatory compliance.

You will lead BCBS 239 gap assessments and remediation, identify critical data elements, map data lineage, and coordinate with business users, IT and vendors. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in CS or related field with 5–12 years in Data Governance/Data Management in Banking/FS, and strong capabilities in data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5–12 years of experience in Data Governance/Data Management, ideally in Banking/Financial Services; total exp not more than 15 years.
• Solid understanding of banking operations, regulatory reporting, risk management and related data governance requirements.
• Strong data analysis to trace data sourcing, transformation and generation across systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across business, IT and vendors.
• Experience in BCBS239, RDARR and governance frameworks within Banking/FS sectors.
• Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define CDEs based on regulatory reporting requirements and business priorities.
• Develop and maintain data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and metadata documentation.
• Map data elements from source systems to regulatory and management reporting needs.
• Standardize data definitions and business rules for consistency.
• Engage business users, IT teams and vendors to gather requirements and validate data lineage.
• Assess data quality gaps and propose remediation initiatives.
• Define data quality controls and monitoring processes.
• Establish end-to-end data lineage across sourcing, transformation and reporting layers.
• Assess governance frameworks against BCBS239 principles and org standards.
• Conduct gap assessments and remediation actions to strengthen regulatory compliance.
• Support regulatory reviews with documentation and evidence.
