THE BALLET SCHOOL (BP) PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced ballet instructor to prepare students from toddler to adult for exams and professional careers.

You will lead, mentor and manage junior instructors while delivering engaging classes that build technique, artistry and discipline. The role requires a Dance Diploma or RAD credentials, at least 3 years of RAD teaching, and a strong performing background.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in RAD syllabus.
• Teaching credential: RAD CBTS or Dance Degree.
• Bachelor’s Degree in any field acceptable with dance background.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and syllabi.
• Prepare students for yearly exams and progress assessments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach stimulating ballet classes for Toddler to Adult.
• Lead, groom and direct junior instructors to maintain quality teaching.
• Plan and deliver lesson plans and syllabi aligned with RAD syllabus.
• Conduct teachers’ meetings to update syllabus and teaching methods.
• Explain and demonstrate proper techniques to students.
• Engage students with clear, concise, and effective instruction.
• Identify student needs and develop each child’s potential.
• Prepare students for annual and other exams.
• Attend professional development programmes to refresh teaching methods and curriculum.
• Maintain professional image in dress and demeanor.
