Job summary

Flo Energy is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Digital Enablement Technology Team in Singapore. You will build end-to-end, highly scalable backend platforms and APIs to support multi-region deployments across Singapore and Australia.

You will drive architecture, code quality, and operational excellence, collaborating with product teams and other engineers to deliver robust, secure, and high-performance software in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of core software engineering experience in a tech company, with leadership of complex, high-scale projects in an agile environment.
• Interest in how technology can improve environments people live in and proposing new features.
• Strong organizational, ownership, leadership and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset aligned with Agile principles and empowered teams.
• Understanding of security best practices to safeguard data and systems.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end solutions for Flo, focusing on scalable, complex platforms and infrastructure.
• Drive software and product delivery from ideation to deployment, improving system design and documentation.
• Develop robust backend systems and APIs for multi-region use (Singapore and Australia).
• Align product and business objectives with easy-to-use platforms for customers.
• Lead innovation, introduce new ideas and technologies across the team.
