Job summary

Flo Energy in Singapore is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Digital Enablement Technology Team. You will build end-to-end, scalable backend systems across Singapore and Australia, working closely with product and frontend teams.

You will own the backend lifecycle from design to deployment, ship robust APIs, improve infrastructure, and help evolve our technology stack (Kotlin, PostgreSQL, AWS, TypeScript) in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of core software engineering experience in a tech company, with agile delivery experience.
• Strong interest in how technology improves everyday environments and willingness to propose new ideas.
• Superior organizational, ownership, leadership and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to Agile principles and empowered teams.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end solutions for Flo, focusing on highly scalable, complex backend platforms.
• Lead cycle of software delivery from ideation to deployment, maintaining code quality and infrastructure standards.
• Develop robust backend systems and APIs that support users across multiple regions (Singapore, Australia).
• Understand product and business goals to deliver user-friendly platforms.
• Improve operations and productivity through process enhancements.
• Communicate across teams to drive engineering efforts and adopt new technologies.
