Job summary

Western Union Technology Services is seeking a Backend Developer to design, develop and test new Dash features on Singapore's first all-in-one mobile payments solution. You will work with architects to ensure scalable, secure backend systems and embrace CI/CD practices.

Applicants should have 5+ years backend experience with Spring Boot, Java, and API gateways, along with RESTful APIs, NoSQL and relational databases. Experience in DevOps and automated testing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/CE or related discipline.
• 3–5 years in mobile app development using agile/DevOps.
• 5+ years backend/server development with Spring Boot.
• 3+ years experience with web/application servers and Java.
• 3+ years experience in API gateway development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing; security tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and test new Dash features.
• Maintain and enhance backend applications on the Dash platform.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure secure, scalable solutions.
