Job summary

Tap Growth ai is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer in Singapore to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. You will build microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native components with Alibaba Cloud, collaborating with bilingual regional teams.

You should have at least 7 years of backend experience, a strong command of Java and Spring Boot, and proven ability to work across APAC with English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• 7+ years in backend development with Java-based enterprise apps.
• Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native apps.
• Fluent in English and Chinese for APAC collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java backend and microservices.
• Build and optimize REST APIs and backend services for performance.
• Implement cloud-native deployments on Alibaba Cloud.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, improve quality.
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, DevOps, and regional stakeholders.
