Job summary

Accenture Singapore seeks a Senior AWS Engineer with deep banking domain expertise to modernize core banking systems and lead cloud-native transformations on AWS. You will build rapid prototypes, demos for client engagements, and integrate AI/data capabilities into core platforms.

Role requires strong hands-on AWS, Python coding, and experience delivering secure, scalable solutions in complex financial services environments.

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years experience in Banking technology / financial services IT
• Core banking systems (lending, payments, deposits, investments)
• Strong hands-on AWS experience: Cloud-native architecture and development
• Strong hands-on programming experience in Python (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to build working demos / PoCs under time pressure; client-facing

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization of core banking systems, including: lending, credit, deposits, and investments
• Drive transformation approaches: Legacy → cloud-native; Monolith → microservices / event-driven
• Build end-to-end functional prototypes and demos on AWS for client engagements
• Architect cloud-native banking solutions with API-first integration and secure designs
• Work with AI/data capabilities: data lakes, ETL/ELT, ML models for credit scoring and fraud
• Lead architecture discussions, pre-sales and technical solutioning
