Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking a highly skilled AVP Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our critical enterprise network infrastructure in the Central Region. This role emphasizes reliability, security, and high performance across routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless.

Based onsite in City Area, you will collaborate with IT teams, participate in capacity planning, and drive improvements in network monitoring, documentation, and incident response while upholding strict

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6–8 years of network engineering experience in large enterprise or financial environments.
• Strong TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, OSPF, BGP knowledge and routing/switching expertise.
• Experience with firewalls and security best practices in banking context.
• CCNP/CCIE preferred; effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, install, and troubleshoot network hardware and software.
• Monitor performance, resolve issues, and implement proactive measures.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures.
• Enforce network security policies and compliance.
• Participate in capacity planning, upgrades, and migrations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support.
