Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking an experienced banker to drive ECA-backed financing and project finance across Asia. The role focuses on origination, structuring and execution for Korean sponsors, with close collaboration with global wholesale banking teams.

You will analyze credit, build financial models, and lead transactions from due diligence to documentation, balancing OCBC’s risk and client objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in structured or project finance, ECA finance, or related fields.
• Strong credit analysis and structuring skills with clear recommendations.
• Advanced financial modelling and strong analytical capabilities.
• Commercially minded with interest in financing opportunities and client relationships.
• Fluency in Korean strongly preferred.
• High attention to detail and disciplined execution in multi‑workstream environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop ECA-backed financing and PF business, including Korean counterparties.
• Screen transactions, research markets and perform credit assessments.
• Prepare client proposals, indicative terms and deal materials.
• Lead due diligence, credit assessment, modelling, structuring and documentation.
• Assess financial information to identify key commercial and credit factors.
• Maintain models; run sensitivity and scenario analyses.
• Draft credit applications and internal recommendations for approvals.
• Develop financing structures balancing OCBC risk, return and capital.
• Track industry and ECA market developments for portfolio impact.
• Prepare market intelligence and internal management reports.
