Job summary

AEM Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced ATE Quality Subject Matter Expert to join the QA organization. You will assess the quality of ATE test applications, establish standards, and provide technical leadership during NPI, qualification, and production.

The role requires hands-on experience with semiconductor ATE systems, expertise in problem solving (8D/5-Why/FMEA), and a track record of yield improvement and quality assurance in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor test, ATE, or quality engineering.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor ATE systems.
• Understand ATE architecture, test methods, fixtures, and DUT interfaces.
• Experience in QA, including identifying test risks and quality escapes.
• Yield improvement and root cause investigation using test data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ATE Quality Subject Matter Expert within QA.
• Assess quality, robustness, and effectiveness of ATE test applications.
• Set quality expectations and best practices for ATE applications.
• Provide technical leadership during NPI, qualification, and production.
• Lead investigations of yield losses and implement corrective actions.
• Drive structured problem solving with 8D, 5-Why, and DOE.
• Improve test coverage based on customer needs and field lessons.
• Lead ATE-related FMEA and PFMEA to capture lessons learned.
• Lead test correlation/characterization; identify test-system variation.
