Job summary

RRecruiter in Singapore seeks a senior quality/test engineer with 5+ years in semiconductor test. You will be the go-to expert on ATE quality, defining standards for test applications and collaborating with engineering and production teams.

You will evaluate test setups for robustness, investigate yield loss, and drive corrective actions using 8D/5-Why and DOE approaches. This role requires hands-on ATE experience and cross-functional collaboration across NPI and high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Semiconductor, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in semiconductor test, ATE applications, or quality engineering.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor ATE platforms and test architecture.
• Proven yield improvement, failure analysis and data-driven root cause work.
• Experience with 8D, CAPA and FMEA; familiarity with DOE, MSA and SPC; Minitab is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
• Background in customer quality, production test, NPI or high-volume manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to expert on ATE quality and set standards for test applications.
• Evaluate test programs and ATE setups for robustness and quality escapes.
• Guide quality activities across new product introduction, qualification and volume production.
• Investigate yield loss and test-related failures with cross-functional teams.
• Use 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, DOE and statistical tools to solve problems.
• Strengthen test coverage using customer requirements and lessons from the field.
• Lead DFMEA and PFMEA reviews to feed learnings into future designs.
• Run test correlation and characterization studies to reduce measurement variation.
• Be the technical contact for customer issues related to test applications.
