Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Singapore seeks a highly experienced Principal Engineer to lead end-to-end ATE test hardware development for wafer sort and final test applications. This senior role combines hands-on engineering with cross-functional influence to deliver robust, high-performance test solutions for high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in ATE test hardware design for semiconductors.
• Experience delivering hardware for high-volume manufacturing.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience coordinating external suppliers and projects.
• Strong English communication and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the full ATE hardware development lifecycle from requirements to production support.
• Design and review load boards, probe cards, sockets and related interfaces.
• Lead SI/PI analyses, simulations, bring-up, debugging and corrective actions.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Develop and enforce reusable design methodologies and best practices.
