Job summary

Northstar Capital in Singapore seeks a senior professional to provide end-to-end transaction support for new ventures and acquisitions, driving growth across the APAC region. You will assess financial feasibilities, build models, and coordinate approvals with strong due diligence and negotiation skills.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Finance or Real Estate, at least 6 years in relevant investment roles, and a track record in real estate transactions, with exposure to logistics assets valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or real estate.
• Minimum 6 years in real estate investment roles or banks/financial institutions with real estate coverage.
• Experience in logistics asset class valued.
• Demonstrated track record in real estate transactions.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis.
• Ability to lead due diligence independently and understand PERE landscape.

• Prepare necessary EC and Board approvals.

Job description

Provide end-to-end transaction support, including but not limited to financial feasibilities, investment recommendation, preparation of IC approvals, due diligence and negotiations as required by the Head of Capital Transaction with regard to the new ventures and acquisitions to ensure growth to the Group’s APAC business.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limit to):

• Prepare financial feasibilities and recommendations for new acquisitions / development / re-development opportunities
• Develop financial models for the projects/acquisitions and new ventures
• Prepare the necessary Executive Committee and Board Approvals
• Lead, coordinate and conduct acquisition-related due diligence independently
• Coordinate and assist in tax structuring for new acquisitions and new ventures
• Assist in acquisition and venture negotiations
• Assist in conceptualisation of new Venture(s) to support expansion of the Group’s business
• Conduct market research and manage market intelligence for Singapore industrial sector
• Make preparations for equity raisings including drafting and preparations of Prospectuses, Information Memorandums and similar documentation
• Assist as required by the Head of Capital Transactions

Position Requirements

• Educational Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Real Estate
• Years of Experience: Minimum 6 Years in real estate investment-related roles or banks / financial institution (with real estate sector coverage)
• Experience in logistics asset class would be highly valued
• Demonstrated track record in real estate transactions
• Strong financial / business acumen and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial modelling, valuation methods and investment analysis
• Ability to lead due diligence processes independently and possess in-depth understanding of PERE landscape
