Job summary

ALPS Group Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Assistant to be based at one of the 27 Public Healthcare Institutions in Singapore.

You will handle logistics support and inventory control within the PHI, receiving and distributing items, and ensuring accuracy in the system to support daily patient care operations. You will work in a team environment to ensure timely delivery, accurate records, and effective coordination with hospital users and vendors.

Qualifications

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, GCE 'N' level or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic Excel and inventory software experience (e.g., SAP/WMS).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support to the department.
• Attend to enquiries and provide information regards to uniform services.
• Responsible for the uninterrupted flow of materials by ensuring the timely delivery of uniforms with the right type, quality and quantity.
• Issues / exchange of staff uniforms.
• Assist in exchange of staff uniforms.
• Assist the Buyer / Executive in uniform measurement exercise and data collation.
• Maintain filling system for efficient work performance.
• Coordinate with internal customers and vendors regarding uniform room activities.
• Maintain department filing system for efficient work performance.
• Daily housekeeping of uniform room, workstation and office equipment.
• Participate in corporate and community outreach events organized by the hospital.
• Seek to improve work processes in the department.
• Undertake other duties/projects as assigned by the Supervisor.

About The Role

As the Logistics Assistant in ALPS, you will be based in one of the 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHI) in Singapore, you will be responsible for the logistics support and inventory control within the PHI. Working in a team you will receive and distribute inventory items and ensure inventory accountability and accuracy in the system. You will also communicate closely with hospital users to support in the hospital’s daily operations for patients’ care.
