Job summary

ALPS Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Executive to lead procurement-focused projects and support pharmacists in sourcing activities. You will produce timely RFP documentation, manage samples, and coordinate purchasing across the organisation.

You will build and maintain dashboards, perform data analyses, automate workflows, and coordinate with MOH, IT partners and vendors to enhance data quality and insights. Strong Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and scripting basics are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in health, life or pharmaceutical sciences preferred.
• Background in healthcare settings is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables and data mining.
• Good data analysis skills to interpret datasets and generate reports.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent).
• Basic coding skills (Python, SQL or R) for data processing/automation.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Executive is responsible for:

• Leading and executing projects and supporting the pharmacists in facilitating procurement-related activities
• Deliverables include timely and accurate processing and production of RFP documentation, management of samples and coordination of purchasing activities undertaken by ALPS.
• Managing stakeholder engagements and interfaces with organisations such as the Ministry of Health (MOH), IT partner, and vendors in support of sourcing events conducted through e-procurement platforms.
• Developing and maintaining data dashboards and reports, supporting data integration and system enhancements, automating repetitive workflows using scripting tools, performing data quality checks and validation, and collaborating with stakeholders to generate actionable insights
• Leading Business Continuity Planning (BCP), IT support coordination, and other internal operational initiatives to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the team.

Requirements

• Educational / Professional Qualifications: Diploma/ Degree. Background in health/ life/ pharmaceutical sciences preferred
• Relevant Experience: Prior work experience in a healthcare setting will be an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. (e.g., use of formulas, pivot tables, data mining)
• Basic data analysis skills: including the ability to interpret datasets and generate reports
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools, such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or equivalent
• Basic coding skills: such as writing simple scripts for data processing or automation (e.g. Python, R, or SQL)
