Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an Associate Engineer to validate machine performance on semiconductor packaging equipment through calibration, setup and testing per defined procedures.

The role includes level 1 support to diagnose and resolve assembly issues and to assist in QA, tooling, and process improvements. Diploma in Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience is expected, with proficiency in data analysis and problem solving.

Qualifications

Strong interest in statistical analysis and ability to design experiments.
Experience with DOE to validate manufacturing processes.
Hands-on data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Perform machine performance validation on semiconductor packaging equipment through calibration, setup and testing.
Provide level 1 support to diagnose and resolve assembly process issues to improve yield and cycle-time.
Support Process Engineer to develop and qualify inspection protocols and process tooling.
Assist in development of process recipes and work instructions.
Ensure fixtures, jigs, drawings and instructions are available for manufacturing.
Input manufacturing test data and support machine quality reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
