The role covers hands-on assembly, testing, problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Expect a 5-day week with alternate Saturdays, night shift allowances, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment, automation machinery, or precision engineering.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assembly, integration, and testing of high-precision semiconductor equipment and modules.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee assembly activities to meet production schedules.
• Perform diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, vacuum, and pneumatic systems.
• Drive engineering changes, process validation, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior / Principal Assistant Engineer to join our Equipment Production Department. In this role, you will be the technical anchor for high-precision semiconductor equipment assembly, driving quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Work Schedule

• Working Location @ Serangoon
• 5 Days + Alternate Saturdays
• Night Shift ( Shift Allowance Provided )

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Technical Leadership: Lead the assembly, integration, and testing of high-precision semiconductor equipment and modules. Serve as the go-to technical expert for production support.
• Operations Planning: Plan, coordinate, and oversee assembly activities to ensure production schedules and targets are successfully met.
• Troubleshooting & Quality Control: Perform complex diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, vacuum, and pneumatic systems. Ensure strict adherence to assembly quality standards.
• Engineering Support: Drive engineering changes, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior technicians and engineers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment in full compliance with company safety and manufacturing regulations.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment, automation machinery, or precision engineering.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in equipment assembly, machine integration, and systematic troubleshooting.
• Proficient in interpreting complex engineering drawings and technical documentation.
