Randstad - Corporate seeks experienced technicians to lead high-precision assembly, calibration, and advanced testing on the production floor. You will drive shift-level execution and mentor junior staff while ensuring EHS compliance.
You will collaborate with engineering to optimize process recipes, tooling, and metrology, and support NPI activities, root-cause investigations, and MES data analysis for KPI-driven improvements.
We are seeking experienced technical professionals to lead high-precision equipment assembly, machine calibration, and advanced operational testing. In this role, you will drive shift-level execution, perform complex electro-mechanical diagnostics, support process engineering initiatives, and mentor junior technical staff.
Assembly & Calibration: Lead module assembly, precise system setup, machine alignment, and thorough operational testing in accordance with engineering standard operating procedures.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve escalated mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum system issues to maintain target first-pass yield and cycle times.
Process Enhancement: Partner with engineering teams to develop, qualify, and optimize process recipes, specialized tooling, jigs, and metrology inspection protocols.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Support build qualifications, engineering change orders, failure analysis, and root cause investigations for new equipment platforms.
Data Integrity & KPIs: Run manufacturing execution system (MES) data logging, evaluate key performance indicators and drive continuous process improvements.
Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, deliver on-the-job training for junior technicians, and assist shift leadership with daily execution and planning.
EHS Compliance: Maintain rigorous adherence to workplace safety regulations, standard operating guidelines, and environmental protocols.
Education: Diploma or Higher NITEC in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Materials Science, or a related discipline).
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in high-tech manufacturing, capital equipment assembly, or semiconductor packaging machinery.
System Knowledge: Proven expertise in electro-mechanical diagnostics, system integration, line calibration, and systematic containment methods.
Data & Tools: Proficiency with Excel and data analysis concepts; familiarity with statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or design of experiments (DOE) is an advantage.
Shift Availability: Willingness to work designated operational shift schedules
