Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Mechanical Engineer to design and develop precision mechanical systems for semiconductor equipment.

You will work with System Engineers to define specifications, perform tolerances, and drive sub-systems through development, integration, and deployment. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and 3+ years in relevant industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years experience in semiconductor equipment, automation products, or related industries.
• Experience with wafer fabrication, semiconductor equipment, or medical equipment is preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design, tolerance stack-up, FEA, and problem-solving.

Job Summary

• Job Title: Senior/ Mechanical Engineer
• Industry: Semiconductor / Electronics Testing Equipment
• Location: Serangoon, Singapore
• Working Hours: 5-day work week, 8:30AM-5:30PM
• Salary Package: AWS + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Working with System Engineers to define mechanical system and sub-system design specifications.
• Designing and developing precision mechanical systems for advanced semiconductor equipment.
• Handling component selection, tolerance analysis, motion system design, and component evaluation.
• Supporting system integration, equipment assembly, validation, and release to manufacturing.
• Leading and supervising internal or external design partners during co-development projects.
• Managing vendors and contractors to ensure sub-systems meet design, performance, and reliability requirements.
• Providing technical escalation support during equipment assembly, validation, and customer-site deployment.
• Supporting the full engineering lifecycle from concept and design through system integration and deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment, automation products, or related industries.
• Experience in wafer fabrication, semiconductor equipment, or medical equipment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, tolerance stack-up, FEA, and problem-solving.
• SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software is a MUST.
• Experience with vision applications, thermal modelling, calculations, and measurement techniques is an advantage.
• Willing to be hands-on during the equipment development cycle.
• Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Willing to work extended hours during critical project phases.
