Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore is seeking a facilities operations lead responsible for plant operations across Fabs, coordinating with FMS staff to maintain smooth shift coverage and timely resolution of issues.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Controls or Chemical Engineering, with at least 3 years’ experience on M&E or UPW systems, strong troubleshooting, interpersonal and teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Controls, or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of work experience on M&E or UPW systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills on M&E/UPW systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player with proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for Facility plant operations for respective Fabs
• Lead, liaise, assist and coordinate with all FMS staff and ensure that issues/complaints are attended and responded timely.
• Respective Fab FMS staff shall update on any issues faced by them for any guidance or manpower/logistics requirements during the shift.
• To ensure optimum usage of manpower, logistic/resources for respective Fabs
• To ensure incident escalation procedures are followed up correctly.
• To accelerate the processes of pipeline review.
• To calibrate schedules based on demand and throughput consistency.
• To Escalate Fab impact incidents to Facilities key personnel.
• And also to help global benefits.
