Job summary

National Cancer Centre Singapore is seeking a Senior Associate / Associate Executive in the Billing Team to ensure timely and accurate billing for patients. You will process bills and claims, submit Medisave/Medishield claims to CPF Board/insurers, and follow up on claims rejected by third parties; you will also liaise with departments to verify billing information and perform checks on discrepancies.

• Diploma in any discipline or GCE N/O/A or WSQ in Healthcare with 6 years’ experience.
• Prior experience in healthcare billing, medical claims, or patient administration is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Process patients’ bills and claims accurately.
• Submit Medisave/Medishield claims to CPF Board/insurers.
• Follow up on claims rejected by CPF Board/ Insurers.
• Liaise with departments to verify billing information.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate / Associate Executive, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate billing for our patients.

Some of the Key Responsibilities include

• Processing patients’ bills and claims with accuracy
• Submission of patients' Medisave/Medishield claims to CPF Board/insurers and other relevant third parties for the settlement of bills
• Timely follow-up on claims rejected by CPF Board/ Insurers and/or other relevant third-party payers
• Liaising with the relevant departments to verify accuracy of billing information
• Performing checks on billing discrepancies
• Performing any other duties assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline or GCE N / O / A / NITEC / Higher NITEC / WSQ Cert in Healthcare (Operations) + 6 years’ experience and demonstrated competency
• Prior experience in healthcare billing, medical claims, or patient administration is advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
