Job summary

DBS Bank's Group Research team is seeking a self-driven analyst to support multi-sector equity research across Asia-Pacific markets, working closely with senior analysts to produce institutional-grade notes. The role blends financial modelling, sector analysis and increasingly AI-augmented workflows, covering real estate, financials, industrials, consumer and other assigned sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in equity research or related analytical role.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business.
• CFA (in progress or completed) or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, comps, SOTP).
• Advanced Excel with ability to handle large datasets and complex models.

Responsibilities

• Support senior analysts in producing company and sector research notes, initiation reports, and thematic pieces across assigned coverage
• Build and maintain financial models (DCF, comps, SOTP) and earnings forecasts for covered companies
• Track quarterly results, company announcements, and sector news flow; flag material developments
• Conduct company and industry due diligence, including channel checks, site visits, and management engagement
• Assist in preparing investor-facing materials: research decks, factsheets, sector dashboards, and comparative valuation tables
• Monitor regional peers and cross-market read-throughs relevant to covered sectors
• Contribute to house-view thematic research and portfolio strategy pieces
• Maintain data accuracy across internal databases, screens, and consensus trackers
• Support ad hoc requests from sales, trading, and institutional clients
