Job summary

Wellington Management is seeking an Equity Research Associate to join the Global Industry Research Financials team in Singapore. The role supports a senior analyst in coverage of Asia Financials, offering opportunities to contribute to differentiated research and alpha generation within a collaborative platform.

Ideal candidates are intellectually curious, proactive, and collaborative, with strong financial modeling, English communication skills, and CFA progress preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with strong academic record.
• CFA designation or progress toward completing the CFA Program is preferred.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in equity research (buy-side or sell-side).
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including using AI or related tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing fundamental research on Asia financials sector companies.
• Develop and maintain financial models, valuation frameworks, peer analysis, and industry knowledge.
• Attend company meetings, conferences, and events to gain differentiated insights and translate them into actionable research.
• Prepare high-quality written research and communicate recommendations to the team.
