Job summary

RELIANCE ADVISORY SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an audit professional in Singapore to support planning and execution of engagements, understand the client’s business environment, assess risks, and determine materiality.

You will perform fieldwork, including tests of controls and analytical procedures, prepare tax computations for IRAS, and ensure compliance with local laws and FRS.

The role also involves reviewing financial statements and mentoring junior associates on the team.

Responsibilities

• Review management accounts and assist in planning audit engagements, including understanding client environment, assessment of key risks areas, determination of materiality and performance of preliminary analytical review.
• Perform fieldwork for audit including tests of controls, substantive analytical procedures and other tests of details.
• Prepare tax computations for submission to IRAS.
• Check compliance with relevant laws and regulations e.g. Singapore Companies Act, Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), Income Tax Act and applicable tax legislation.
• Review the financial statements prepared by clients and modify as appropriate in compliance with the requirements of FRS.
• Able to lead and coach junior associates on team assignments.
