Job summary

RELIANCE ASSURANCE LLP in Singapore is seeking an experienced auditor to support planning and execution of audit engagements. You will understand client environments, assess risks, determine materiality, and perform analytical reviews.

You will also perform fieldwork, prepare tax computations for IRAS submissions, ensure compliance with local laws and FRS, and mentor junior staff while leading engagements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of auditing experience.
• Ability to work under pressure as part of a team.
• Strong communication and professional accountability.

Responsibilities

• Review management accounts and assist in planning audit engagements, including understanding client environment, risk assessment, materiality, and preliminary analytical review.
• Perform fieldwork: tests of controls, substantive procedures, and other tests of details.
• Prepare tax computations for submission to IRAS.
• Check compliance with applicable laws and regulations (Singapore Companies Act, FRS, Income Tax Act).
• Review financial statements and modify to comply with FRS requirements.
• Lead engagement teams and guide junior associates.

Job description

• Review management accounts and assist in planning of the audit engagements including, but not limited to, understanding of the client's business environment, assessment of key risks areas, determination of materiality and performance of preliminary analytical review


• Perform fieldwork for audit including, but not limited to, performance of tests of controls, substantive analytical procedures and other tests of details


• Prepare tax computations for submission to IRAS


• Check compliance with relevant laws and regulations e.g. Singapore Companies Act (Chapter 50), Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), Income Tax Act and applicable tax legislation, etc.


• Review the financial statements prepared by clients and modify as appropriate in compliance with the requirements of FRS


• Lead team on engagements and provide guidance to junior associates


• At least 2 years of auditing experience

The candidate should :

• posses a Degree in accountancy or other professional accountancy qualifications
