Job summary

RELIANCE AUDIT PAC in Singapore is looking for an individual to assist in audit engagements, which includes reviewing management accounts and performing fieldwork. Responsibilities include preparing tax computations and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

The ideal candidate should possess a good understanding of the client's business environment and be able to evaluate key risk areas effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review management accounts and assist in planning of the audit engagements.
• Perform fieldwork for audit including tests of controls.
• Prepare tax computations for submission to IRAS.
• Check compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Review the financial statements prepared by clients.

Job description

• Review management accounts and assist in planning of the audit engagements including, but not limited to, understanding of the client’s business environment, assessment of key risks areas, determination of materiality and performance of preliminary analytical review
• Perform fieldwork for audit including, but not limited to, performance of tests of controls, substantive analytical procedures and other tests of details
• Prepare tax computations for submission to IRAS
• Check compliance with relevant laws and regulations e.g. Singapore Companies Act (Chapter 50), Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), Income Tax Act and applicable tax legislation, etc.
• Review the financial statements prepared by clients and modify as appropriate in compliance with the requirements of FRS
