Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing of accounts and prepare journal entries with accurate postings to the General Ledger.
• Manage Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable transactions, including accruals and payments with the shared services team.
• Oversee Sundry Billings and maintain master data such as GL accounts and cost centers.
• Prepare monthly schedules and reports for Management, auditors, and external parties.
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment-related matters.

Senior Assistant Manager, Finance (Finance Operations)

Job Category: Administration

Role

Reporting to the Manager, Finance, the Senior Assistant Manager will manage and handle day-to-day Finance Operations across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Sundry Billings functions. The role offers broad, practical exposure across month-end closing, reporting and payment processing. It is suited to candidates who want to build strong Finance foundations while contributing to the delivery of quality community healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing of accounts, prepare journal entries, and ensure all transactions and invoices are accurately coded and posted in the General Ledger.
• Manage and handle Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable transactions, including accruals, cost allocations, and payment processes in coordination with the shared services team (1FSS).
• Manage the Sundry Billings function to ensure timely and accurate bill generation.
• Maintain master data including GL accounts, cost centres, and internal orders.
• Prepare and submit monthly supporting schedules, related companies' disclosures, and reports for Management, auditors, and external parties.
• Engage with internal departments, vendors, and the shared services team to facilitate and resolve payment-related matters.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and projects as assigned.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a recognised professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Preferably 4 years of relevant experience
