Job summary

1FSS Pte Ltd is seeking a team lead for Financial Accounting and Management Reporting within a healthcare-focused Finance Shared Services environment. The role oversees a staff team, manages month-end and year-end closes, and liaises with auditors and tax agents.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accountancy or ACCA, with 3 years of relevant experience and at least 1 year in supervision. SAP experience is a plus, and strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Job description

A team lead responsible for the Financial Accounting and Management Reporting functions in a Finance Shared Services environment supporting healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of staff in the section in handling day-to-day financial matters, month-end and year-end accounts closing, including the preparation and/or review of the monthly, quarterly and year-end audit schedules and financial reporting packages

• Responsible for the good quality of the balance sheet

• Review internal charge and reclassification requests

• Review bank reconciliation and resolve reconciling items

• Review miscellaneous receipts and follow up on unaccounted sums

• Investigate and resolve user’s queries

• Responsible for GST and other statistical submissions

• Liaise with internal and external auditors on audit matters

• Liaise with tax agent on corporate tax and GST matters

• Work with Grants and Intercompany GL teams to resolve issues

• Lead and participate in process improvement projects

• Ad-hoc assignments

Job Requirements:

• At least a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience, with 1-year experience in a supervisory position

• Higher qualified/experienced candidates will be considered for the Senior Finance Executive/Accountant position

• IT savvy - proficient in Microsoft Office such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Hands-on experience with SAP system will be an advantage

• Prior audit experience will be an advantage

• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills

• Able to take pressure and work within tight deadlines

• Meticulous, motivated, committed, resourceful and able to work independently
