The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting/Finance/Business with 5+ years of relevant experience; healthcare sector experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and smooth monthly closing process in line with requirements
• Address statutory reporting and audit requirements; ensuring financials meet latest IFRS requirements
• Lead, monitor and review the grant management process, ensuring accuracy of grant accounts and compliance with policies and accounting standards
• Participate in the cluster and hospital's budgeting and rolling forecast processes
• Manage respective operational finance processes such as: operational expenditure including accruals, purchase requisition and orders
• Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
• Ensure a strong culture of corporate governance by working closely with internal and external auditors and partnering stakeholders to close audit issues promptly
