Job summary

You will lead grant accounting, contribute to budgeting and rolling forecasts at cluster and hospital levels, manage operating expenditures and accruals, and assist with new processes and system implementations while coordinating with internal and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy / Finance.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, timely monthly closing in line with group and institutional requirements
• Handle statutory reporting and audit requirements, ensuring financials comply with the latest IFRS standards
• Lead and review the grant management process, ensuring accurate grant accounts and compliance with policies and accounting standards
• Contribute to budgeting and rolling forecast exercises at both cluster and hospital level
• Manage operational finance processes, including operating expenditure and accruals, and purchase requisitions and orders
• Support new process and system implementations
• Work closely with internal and external auditors and stakeholders to close audit issues promptly and uphold strong corporate governance

Education
