Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent.
• Professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA) will be an added advantage.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience.
• Good problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills.
• Conscientious and meticulous.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Xero accounting software and clinics/retail industries will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly closing of accounts and ensure timely preparation of financial reports for management.
• Prepare monthly management reports and presentations (including financial and business performance analysis).
• Support management decision-making with in-depth analyses
• Reconcile medical insurance claims to payment reports/collections and liaise with clinic operations teams to resolve rejected claims.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare and submit annual statutory accounts in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Prepare and file quarterly GST returns
• Review annual corporate tax computations prepared by tax agent.
• Prepare relevant financial reports and presentations for Annual General Meetings.
• Liaise with auditors in relation to annual statutory audits.
• Assess current practices and processes and make recommendations for improvements.
• Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
