Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd supports an established healthcare organisation in Singapore for a hands-on Assistant Manager, Finance role. Based at HarbourFront, the position focuses on managing accounting and reporting activities across multiple business units / legal entities.

The role handles day-to-day accounting, month-end close, intercompany reconciliations, journal entries, and ensures accurate monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and month-end closing for assigned entities
• Prepare and post journal entries within stipulated closing timelines
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and upload submissions into Tagetik by WD5
• Ensure revenue and expenses are accurately and completely recorded each month
• Review monthly P&L movements and variances and provide explanations
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet schedules and follow up on long-outstanding items
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare tax schedules and support Group Tax on analysis and queries
• Work closely with Business Units and Finance Operations teams on accounting matters
• Support annual stocktake exercises and incentive computations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOPs and regulatory requirements
• Identify issues, drive resolutions and support continuous process improvements
• Support the Reporting Manager in team supervision and ad-hoc Finance projects
