Job summary

Land Transport Authority is seeking an experienced SNR/EXEC/ENGINEER, ASSET MGMT (SYSTEMS & PLANNING) to lead and enhance its rail asset management framework, drive ISO 55001:2024 certification, and ensure compliance with ISO 55000 standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve lifecycle cost visibility, develop competency programs, review licences and contracts, and support cost management while delivering continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Systems engineering/Railway Engineering/Transport Related Engineering.
• Specialisations in Engineering Management/Physical Asset Management related disciplines like Life Cycle Management, Reliability/Quality Engineering/Management, Engineering Economy/Finance will be advantageous.
• Strong conceptualisation, analytical and planning abilities.
• Excellent writing, speaking and interpersonal skills, and ability to work as a valued team player.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, able to work independently.
• As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.

Responsibilities

• Review, develop and enhance rail asset management framework, strategies, plans and processes to align with ISO 55000.
• Support the achievement and maintenance of ISO 55001:2024 certification; conduct internal audits and refine procedures.
• Review asset management competency programme and materials; collaborate with SMEs to cover topics.
• Define and review Asset Management and Maintenance compliance in licences and contracts; work with operators to enforce requirements.
• Review operator submissions for licence compliance.
• Establish visibility into lifecycle costs of rail systems and infrastructure; enhance cost management and provide data support to stakeholders.
