Job summary

Straits Construction Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage on-site activities, monitor quality, inventory, and safety. You will coordinate with subcontractors, maintain records, and ensure timely delivery of materials across project sites in Singapore.

The role requires at least 8 years of relevant experience, Coretrade Foreman registration, and QM project exposure. Independence, teamwork, and travel within Singapore are expected. Proficiency in MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ of relevant experience.
• Preferably completed QM project and registered as Coretrade foremen.
• Independent, diligent and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
• Willing to travel around project site offices within Singapore.
• Able to work in team and cope in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant qualification of certificates in structural and architectural discipline (eg: NCCS, BCSS, Safety or Lifting).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site works according to micro scheduling.
• Ensure site activities follow daily site coordination.
• Conduct internal quality and pre-inspection with subcontractors.
• Perform daily inventory checks.
• Plan and manage site storage.
• Liaise with workers and supervise site activities.
• Control and minimize wastage on site.
• Ensure safety in all work activities.
• Execute trade demos as required.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to rectify defects and maintain quality.
• Update progress of architectural works for QS and PM.
• Coordinate subcontractors to avoid conflicts.
• Plan delivery of materials to designated locations.
• Assist Senior Structural Supervisor with additional duties.
• Receive structural materials from suppliers.
• Maintain site records (daily journal, concrete cubes, DO, etc.).
• Perform adhoc duties as assigned by supervisor/management.

Job description

• To manage and liaise with workers.
• Control and minimize wastages.
• Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment.
• To execute trade demo.
• Coordinate with the subcon and to ensure that all defects are rectified with quality.
• Update the progress of architectural works for quantity surveyors and the PM.
• Coordinate the subcontractors’ work to avoid conflicts amongst the subcontractors.
• Planning delivery materials to the designated location.
• To carry out any other works as instructed by Snr. Struc. Supervisor
• Receiving structural materials from suppliers.
• To keep site records (daily journal, concrete cubes, DO, etc.)
• Other adhoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.
