Job summary

STRAITS CONSTRUCTION SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a seasoned Site Supervisor to lead day-to-day site activities, supervise crews, and coordinate with subcontractors. Focus areas include quality control, safety, and efficient execution of works in line with project plans.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, Coretrade foreman registration is preferred, and willingness to travel within Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ of relevant experience.
• QM project experience and Coretrade foreman registration preferred.
• Independent, diligent and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
• Willing to travel around project site offices within Singapore.
• Able to work in a team and cope in a fast-paced environment.
• Certificates in structural/architectural disciplines (e.g., NCCS, BCSS, Safety or Lifting).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site works according to micro scheduling.
• Ensure site carry out according to daily site coordination.
• Conduct internal quality and pre-inspection with subcontractors.
• Inventory check on a daily basis.
• Plan and manage site storage.
• Manage and liaise with workers.
• Control and minimize wastages.
• Ensure work activities are carried out in a safe working environment.
• Execute trade demos.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to rectify defects with quality.
• Update progress of architectural works for QS and PM.
• Coordinate subcontractors’ work to avoid conflicts.
• Plan delivery of materials to designated locations.
• Carry out other duties as instructed by Senior Struct. Supervisor.
• Receive structural materials from suppliers.
• Maintain site records (daily journal, concrete cubes, DO, etc.).
• Other adhoc duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor/Management.

• Coordinate the subcontractors’ work to avoid conflicts amongst the subcontractors.
• Planning delivery materials to the designated location.
• To carry out any other works as instructed by Snr. Struc. Supervisor
• Receiving structural materials from suppliers.
• To keep site records (daily journal, concrete cubes, DO, etc.)
• Other adhoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ of relevant experience
• Preferably completed QM project and registered as Coretrade foremen.
• Independent, diligent and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
• Willing to travel around project site offices within Singapore.
• Able to work in team and cope in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant qualification of certificates in structural and architectural discipline (eg: NCCS, BCSS, Safety or Lifting).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
