Job summary

Woh Hup Group Singapore seeks a Senior Architectural Coordinator to lead the design team and ensure buildable shop drawings. You will coordinate with Structural and M&E coordinators and consultants to align drawings with the project master program.

Requirements include a degree in Architecture, minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ability to communicate via sketches, and awareness of authorities' requirements (BCA, SCDF, LTA). On-site work with safety emphasis.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Architecture or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant industry, preferably full-time on a project.
• Coordination and identify areas of concern with design intent.
• Understanding of structural / M&E drawings.
• Able to communicate with consultants in clear hand sketches drawing.
• Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities (ie.BCA, SCDF, LTA)Awareness of contractual obligations/rights.

Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with the Structural and M&E Coordinators to ensure buildable shop drawings are issued timely to the project site team.
• Ensure drawings produced by the drafting team and sub-contractors are accurate and timely in alignment with the Project Master Program.
• Identify shop drawings discrepancies, buildability, and impact on different disciplines.
• Relate design intent from architect/design consultant to buildable construction shop drawing.
• Ensure design intent on critical dimensions are highlighted; details are workable and coordinated with other trades.
• Liaise with architect, design consultant, and sub-contractors on design intent and technical issues.
• Coordinate between architectural team and consultant drawings to ensure consistency in construction drawings.
• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace
