Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients and other involved professionals at an early stage to agree on the project brief
• Developing project briefs and working on these as the project progresses
• Preparing design proposals using CAD and traditional drawing methods
• Co-ordinating design information and liaising with various consultants
• Leading the preparation of tender documentation and construction drawings
• Carrying out site visits to check progress and ensure timelines
• Managing the work of junior staff/direct reports
• Assisting in administering contracts and project certifications
• Liaising with authorities to obtain statutory approval
• Monitoring and solving problems during construction stages
