Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD is seeking a Senior Architect to lead design development and coordination for大型 EPC projects in Singapore. The role requires guiding a multidisciplinary team, reviewing technical submissions, and ensuring compliance with local codes and authority requirements.

The candidate will drive design decisions, manage risks, and mentor junior architects across project locations islandwide.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 10–12 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience in design and construction for complex industrial, high-tech or multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience in data centres, semiconductor facilities, life sciences, cleanrooms or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes and local authority requirements.
• Good technical problem-solving, communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working across project locations islandwide in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design development, detailing, specifications and construction-related coordination for complex EPC projects.
• Review drawings, submissions and tender docs for compliance with codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on design, cost, schedule and technical matters.
• Ensure designs comply with Singapore regulations and authority requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and client meetings, resolving issues and driving timely decisions.
• Monitor design progress, identify risks and support recovery plans for design/cost/schedule issues.
• Promote sustainable design practices and maintain design quality and reviews.
• Mentor and guide architectural team members and support technical development.

Our client is a Engineering and construction company that specializes designing and delivering mega and significant projects. They are looking for an experienced Senior Architect for their expanding business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead architectural design development, detailing, specifications and construction-related design coordination for complex EPC projects.
• Review architectural drawings, technical submissions and tender documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, commercial and construction teams on design, cost, schedule and technical matters.
• Ensure architectural designs comply with Singapore building regulations and relevant authority requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and client meetings, resolving technical issues and driving timely design decisions.
• Monitor design progress, identify risks and support recovery plans for design, cost or schedule issues.
• Promote sustainable design practices and maintain appropriate design quality and review processes.
• Mentor and guide architectural team members, supporting technical development and team performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Approximately 10–12 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Experience in design and construction for complex industrial, high-tech or multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Experience in data centres, semiconductor facilities, life sciences, cleanrooms or similar technically demanding environments is highly relevant.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes, local authority requirements and design implementation.
• Good technical problem-solving, communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working across project locations islandwide in Singapore.
