Job summary

NOV in Singapore is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer/Technical Sales professional to drive tender activity and provide technical-commercial support for pump solutions. You will review specifications, create tenders, and coordinate with sales, engineering and operations.

You will select appropriate pumps using in-house tools, prepare and submit complex tender documents, manage orders in CRM/ERP, and ensure customer requirements are met with precision across local and international

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Process, or related field).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar applications engineering or technical sales role.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical documentation, technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret technical and commercial enquiries during pre-quote and order acceptance stages.
• Develop, review, and modify commercial and technical documentation to create tenders, manage clarification and orders.
• Utilize proprietary equipment selection tools to identify the most effective solutions for customer applications.
• Prepare and submit complex tender documents in alignment with client specifications and expectations.
• Enter and manage orders through internal CRM and ERP systems.
• Active and effective communication with customers and sales representatives.
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Undertake additional duties relevant to the role as required.
