Job summary

Citi is seeking an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst to join our Technology team in Singapore. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing new or revised application systems with emphasis on analysis, coding, testing, and deployment.

You will coach junior analysts, work under limited supervision, and collaborate with stakeholders across the bank. Strong Java, Spring, Spark, microservices, and CI/CD skills are essential to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in applications development.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines or changes in requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, time/cost estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, and develop new or revised application systems to meet business needs.
• Monitor and control all development phases and provide user/operational support to business users.
• Analyze complex problems, evaluate processes, and ensure alignment with standards.
• Recommend and implement security measures in post-implementation analysis.
• Consult with users and tech groups on issues and propose advanced programming solutions.
• Define operating standards and assist in process development.
• Serve as advisor to junior analysts and operate with minimal supervision.
• Act as SME to stakeholders and team members.
