Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG in Singapore seeks an experienced Java Micro Service Developer to join an agile team building enterprise systems on Spring Boot and Angular. You will design and deliver high-volume, low-latency services and contribute across the full development lifecycle with CI/CD on ECS.

The role requires strong core Java, microservices, REST, and SDLC knowledge, plus hands-on experience with DevOps tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins) and databases (SQL Server, MongoDB).

Qualifications

• 2+ years Java development experience with micro‑services and Spring framework.
• 5+ years Core Java/J2EE, Node.js, Spring Boot experience.
• Strong knowledge of SOA & microservices, REST services.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and agile development.
• Experience with CI/CD, Jira, and related tooling.
• Familiarity with SQL Server or MongoDB databases.
• Exposure to AI coding tools such as Devin and Cursor.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of high-volume, low-latency, scalable applications for mission-critical services.
• Develop with Java, Spring Boot and Angular in an Agile environment.
• Perform application code development, integration testing, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
• Write unit tests and perform mocking as part of quality assurance.
• Ensure security compliance with Citi standards and implement monitoring controls.
• Collaborate with SRE for resilience and incident response support.
• Provide Level 3 support for critical application issues.
