Job summary

Citi is seeking an Applications Development Group Manager in Singapore to lead a senior team building and evolving the Payments Product Processor Platform across markets, with a focus on AI-driven patterns and high-quality, maintainable code.

You will collaborate with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions, manage multiple teams, and uphold risk and compliance standards in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in IT or software development.
• Proven experience in applications development and team management.
• Experience leading global technology teams across markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve the Payments Platform for multiple markets.
• Use AI patterns and agentic workflows for faster development.
• Contribute to system architecture, standards, and technical direction.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with ownership.
• Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple teams, conduct performance reviews and hiring.
• Apply deep domain knowledge to resolve issues across areas.
• Ensure procedures are followed and define engineering standards.
• Align development with overall technology goals.
• Provide measured judgment in dynamic situations with data.
• Influence senior leaders and communicate with external parties.
• Assess risk and ensure regulatory compliance in decisions.
